Contributor: Hector Wallace
FarStone Technology, Inc. announced the release and availability of Virtual CD/DVD Tower, the first network CD/DVD tower emulation software that eliminates hardware and lets you access virtual CDs over the Internet.
Designed for businesses and schools, Virtual CD/DVD Tower is a patented, one-of-a-kind software solution that creates "virtual" copies of your CD/DVD-ROMs and enables you to share them with multiple users on your network. Users can even access them through a standard web browser over the Internet. Unlike other CD/DVD emulation hardware or software solutions, Virtual CD/DVD Tower is the only technology that combines these three key features:
1.CD/DVD-ROM emulation;
2.Access to virtual CD/DVDs over the Internet or through a network;
3.No bulky, expensive hardware!
"Not only does Virtual CD/DVD Tower save businesses time and money, it eliminates the hassle of hardware maintenance," said FarStone CEO Thomas Lin.
Virtual CD/DVD Tower has five versions to meet the needs of businesses:
Small Business Edition (50 CD/DVD Capacity)
Small Business Edition (100 CD/DVD Capacity)
Small Business Edition (200 CD/DVD Capacity)
Small Business Edition (300 CD/DVD Capacity)
Enterprise Edition (1000 CD/DVD Capacity)
